  2. I'm having the same concerns. Brought my riding clothes to work today like a miracle cool wind is going to blow in.

  5. Maybe you & Solo could get those Sharper Image "personal air conditioning" things that you wear around your neck. Or...you could sneak him into your local pool to do some laps. Synchronized swimming with ponies -- it could be a new sport!

  6. Hahaha, TDS, the morning is the devil's time, that is where I draw the line! But I like Frizz's idea of personal air conditioning. Probably safer than my idea to wire my camping fans onto Solo's headstall so they blow on me....

We do have lights, Rachel, but yeah, it's even humid at night!!

  7. Hm, good question, I was hoping you would know the answer to that one! Instead of doing any fitting up, we are um...bathing training...yeah...and patience training...

  8. Haha, amen to that! I have no idea, keep the rides short and sweet!! ;) I have one horse I have to do today, riding her later this evening I have decided-was about to go out now (eck!), but too hot, esp. for a out of shape greenie horse! Perhaps some late afternoon t-storms will cool it off?? (or make it more humid,.....one can be hopeful!)

  9. What I should do is go out later tonight, but having spent all day working my butt off in the river, exhaustion is taking its toll....
